Question 1

What is the minimum order quantity for custom packaging?

Accepted Answer

MOQ is set per listing by the factory. It typically starts at 500 to 1,000 pieces for corrugated mailers and rigid boxes, and 1,000 to 3,000 pieces for offset-printed folding cartons. The figure on the product page is the MOQ the supplier has committed to.

Question 2

How is the price calculated?

Accepted Answer

The unit price depends on the quantity band, board or film structure, number of print colours, finishing, and whether plates, dies or samples are charged separately. Listings show an indicative range in the supplier's currency; the formal quotation, usually FOB, is the binding figure.

Question 3

How long does production take?

Accepted Answer

Sampling and proof approval normally take 5 to 7 working days, production 10 to 15 working days, and sea freight 25 to 35 days depending on the destination port. Repeat orders without structural changes are usually faster because plates and dies already exist.

Question 4

Are the suppliers on pkgoutside verified?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A supplier appears in the public directory only after its business licence, factory details, machine list and uploaded certificates have been reviewed, and the same records stay visible on its profile for buyers to check.
